PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration of a truck and the interior noise caused by the vibration of a brake by suppressing the vibration in the right-and-left direction of the peak frequency attributable brake shoe and a brake body in the vibration damping structure of the brake for a rolling stock. SOLUTION: A wheel 12 rolled on a rail and the brake shoe 21 to stop the rotation of the wheel 12 are provided, and a plurality of granular bodies 22, 28 are placed in an internal space of the brake shoe 21 and a brake body 27. The vibration generated inside the truck 10 and the vibration generated in applying the brake are suppressed by the motion of the plurality of granular bodies in each location. As a result, the vibration generated in the brake 20 is reduced, and the vibration of the truck and the interior noise can be reduced, accordingly.
