APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING PERFORMANCE OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for evaluating performance of a heat exchanger and a method thereof are provided to promptly and accurately evaluate performance of the heat exchanger in a simple method. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating performance of a heat exchanger includes the steps of installing the heat exchanger within a duct(20), passing the air of fixed velocity and temperature through the heat exchanger, sensing condensed water(23) dropped from the heat exchanger by using an electric balance(24), transmitting the sensed signal to a computer(25) displaying the result in real time for successively measuring time when condensed water is dropped, and comparing time when condensed water is dropped for the first time with a reference value.
