PURPOSE: A cut slope failure preventing mat is provided to prevent soil or stones of a cut slope from collapsing by installing a mat filled with a mixture in which soil and seeds of grass are mixed, on the cut slope on roadsides. CONSTITUTION: A cut slope failure preventing mat includes a mat(1). The mat has an upper mat(2) and a lower mat(3) formed by binding sheaves of rice, a mixture(4) filling the mats. The mixture is made by mixing soil and seeds of grass. The mat is installed on a cut slope along roadsides and a net is covered on the mat to contact the mat on the cut slope. When the mat is installed on the cut slope for a long time, the seeds contained in the mixture between the upper and lower mats are germinated, and thereby the mat is stably installed on the cut slope.
