<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect whether a seatbelt is mounted or not. SOLUTION: In this device for detecting a mounting condition of a seatbelt, a printed circuit board 3 on which first and second switching circuits 6, 7 having Hall IC are mounted, and a slider 5 to which an object 4 to be detected facing the first and second switching circuit 6, 7 while making contact or no contact with them is attached are provided in the buckle 1 of the seatbelt. When a tongue 11 is inserted in the buckle 1, the slider 5 moves into the buckle by being pushed by the tongue 11, and if the object 4 to be detected comes very close to the first switching circuit 6 after it is brought into contact with or comes very close to the second switching circuit 7, the tongue 11 is latched to the buckle 1.</p> |
