AMORPHOUS ALLOY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND GOLF CLUB HEAD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an amorphous alloy having high strength and high toughness, to provide a method for manufacturing the same and a golf club head which has the parts composed by using the amorphous alloy, has a long life and with which the distance performance of a ball is maintained for a long period. SOLUTION: The amorphous alloy is manufactured by subjecting rolling to a blank containing >=44 vol.% amorphous phase. The resulted amorphous alloy is worked to a prescribed shape, by which the face part of the golf club head may be easily manufactured. Crystalline particles (nano particles) of 1 to 100 nm in grain size are preferably incorporated into the blank.
