PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as manual and time waste spent for figuring out a cause of abnormal electrolyte concentration in a sample because it is not completely isolated whether the cause of the abnormal concentration lies in a sample itself, deterioration of a standard solution or a diluent, or contamination inside an agent passage. SOLUTION: On a solution formed of reference materials of the same composition including a plurality of electrolyte materials, concentrations of the electrolyte materials are measured at a low concentration dilution ratio and at a high concentration dilution ratio, and it is determined whether a concentration ratio between the electrolyte materials is equal to that set to the reference material solution or within a normal range or not. If an abnormal condition is determined an alarm is displayed.
