PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel base positioning device of a testing machine for a vehicle capable of executing accurate positioning efficiently by omitting a positioning work by eye-estimation. SOLUTION: After controlled movement of a truck 4 to the rear wheel position by detection by three detection means 8, 9 and 10, movement of the truck 4 is put into the free state, and an action force generated by lowering the rear wheel B between rollers 3a and 3b by an axle load is converted into the force in the horizontal direction, and a second roller unit 3 is moved by a displacement width between the centers of the rear wheel B and the second roller unit 3 to square the unit with the center position of the rear wheel B.
