PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposition type reactive emulsifier capable of providing good stability at the time of polymerization, capable of enabling coating film obtained from the emulsion to have extremely improved water resistance, adhesion, heat resistance and weather resistance, capable of readily breaking the polymer emulsion at the time of the collection of the polymer, and capable of extremely improving the properties of the obtained polymer. SOLUTION: This new breaking type reactive emulsifier is represented by general formula (I) [wherein, R1 and R2 are the same or different and each a 1-20C alkyl or alkyl group, or a hydrogen atom (with the proviso that both R1 and R2 are not simultaneously the hydrogen atoms); R3 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; A is a 2-4C alkylene group or a substituted alkylene group; m is an integer of 1-20; n is an integer of 1-100; and X is a hydrogen atom, an anionic group, a cationic group or an amphoteric group].
