PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for a movable body, capable of instantaneously displaying the already passed route of the moving body in a bird's-eye view, using a simple operation. SOLUTION: This navigation system for the movable body is provided with a plotting processing part 4e plotting and processing map data stored in a plotting storage part 4d, in the case that a backward route display is instructed by an operating part 3, and making a display part 5 display a bird's-eye view of the route which is already passed viewed from a visual point B shifted in the proceeding direction from a point directly above the present position of the movable body 10. The already passed route of the movable body 10 can be instantaneously displayed in the bird's-eye view using the simple operation of the operating part 3, so that a user can go back to the wrong spot of the route when traveling a wrong route is traveled. |
