METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE OF ROTARY BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and a method for measurement which can accurately measure the temperature of a rotary body by using a thermocouple fitted to the rotary body across a slip ring. SOLUTION: This rotary body temperature measuring instrument has the thermocouple 10 fitted to the rotary body 31, the slip ring 43 which has terminals provided on a rotation side and a nonrotation side, and a couple of conductors 11 which are connected to the nonrotation side terminal 44b, and measures the temperature TA of the rotary body (measurement point A) through the slip ring 43. Further, the instrument has a temperature IC 12 which measures the temperature TC of the rotation-side terminal 44a (contact C) and a thermocouple 14 which measures the temperature TD of the nonrotation side terminal 44b (contact D). The difference (TC-TD) between the temperature TC and temperature TD is used as a reference value to derive the influence of an external factor on the rotation-side terminal and the correlation with the temperature TA is found to measure the accurate rotary body temperature TA.
