PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device and carrying method for excavated earth and sand in excavating device suitable for carrying of, for example, highly viscous earth and sand, promoting the packaging of waste earth and solving the limitation in carrying speed and carrying distance of earth and sand to surely and efficiently carry a constant quantity of earth and sand, and also preventing the falling or breakdown of earth and sand in carrying. SOLUTION: An element 4 is simultaneously movably connected to an excavating device digging while discharging excavated earth and sand 22. A carrying means 16 capable of housing the excavated earth and sand 22 and carrying the excavated earth and sand 22 in a carrying direction is provided within the element 5. The carrying means 16 is movably housed in the element 4. The carrying means 16 is movable from a discharge part for the excavated earth and sand 22 to a carrying-out part for earth and sand.
