PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull latch for a lock which prevents a door from being opened after it rebounds when it is closed strongly and prevents the same from being opened naturally with its own weight. SOLUTION: This pull latch for a lock comprises a lock 4, lever 5 and a latch 7. The lock 4 comprises a locking piece 4b to lock or unlock a door 2 in an interlocking manner with a lock 4a incorporated in a case cover 6. The lever 5 jounalled to the inner side of a recessed pull member 6a provided in the case cover 6. The latch 7 is pressed at its one end by a push spring and held slidably so that it may come in and out of a guide hole formed at the rear surface of the case cover in an interlocked manner with turning operation of the lever 5. By implementing the turning operation to pull up the lever 5 positioned at the inner side of the pull member 6a and journalled to the case cover 6, a locking end engaging with a space of the latch 7 presses one end of the space of the latch 7 to thereby push a tip of the latch 7 into the guide hole. Accordingly, the latch tip is released from a latch receiver 1b of a body of a furniture and then a door is opened.
