PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure of a yard catch basin of which main body made of a synthetic resin can be used even in places, etc., where road surface load is added, all rainwater which has flown into a lid frame from a water permeable lid is made to flow into the basin main body, and there is no need for a separate-body funnel, etc. SOLUTION: The structure of the yard catch basin is provided with an inspection tube 7 connected to the upper part of the basin main body 1 embedded underground and connected to the inside of the basin main body 1, and open at the upper end, a vertical tubular lid frame 15 opening/closing-freely provided at the upper-end opening part with the water permeable lid 13 which is arranged approximately in the same plane as the ground surface and in which a water permeating holes are bored, and a ring-shaped pedestal 17 which is embedded and supported underground and in which the lower end of the lid frame 15 is mounted and fixed to the upper surface and the upper end of the inspection tube 7 is freely fitted in the lower-surface side. A taper 33 to connect a large-diameter opening 29 on the upper-surface side approximately equal to the inner diameter of the lid frame 15 to a small-diameter opening 31 on the lower-surface side smaller than the inner diameter of the inspection tube 7 is formed in the inner circumferential surface of the pedestal 17.
