PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing amorphous calcium phosphate slurry capable of being kept in a highly dispersed state for a long period, and to provide a method of producing fine polymeric particles having uniform particle diameters by using the slurry. SOLUTION: This method of producing amorphous calcium phosphate slurry comprises adding a calcium component to water, pulverizing and dispersing by subjecting the mixture to a through shearing treatment to make slurry, and further adding a highly concentrated aqueous phosphoric acid solution containing 25-85 wt.% of a phosphoric acid component to the obtained slurry to form the amorphous calcium phosphate particles. The method of producing the polymeric particles comprises using the above amorphous calcium phosphate slurry as a dispersion stabilizer when an ethylenic monomer is subjected to water-based suspension polymerization in the presence of a polymerization initiator and a surfactant.
