PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly feed even a material composed of only coarse rocks. SOLUTION: In this feeder, a support face 2 conveying the material is provided with side walls 9. The side wall 9 has rollers 12 rotatable along the conveying direction of the material such that the rotation of the rollers 12 reduces friction generated in contact with the material. The side wall 9 is provided with labyrinths filling gaps between rollers and a side plate of the side wall 9.
