PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally suppress a decontamination expense and surely reduce the exposure of a worker being engaged in inspection work or repairing work of a valve in the inspection work or the repairing work of the valve contaminated with radioactive nuclides. SOLUTION: The decontamination range is widened to the region wider than the distance from the valve end part of a piping component connected to a decontamination object valve to a place where 20 cm is added to the inner diameter of a pipe, in addition to the decontamination object valve, and decontamination is executed.
