PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen the removal of the earth and sand adhered to an auger screw, simplify a device therefor to reduce the cost, and facilitate the conformation to the deformation of the auger screw so as to be stably usable over a long period. SOLUTION: In an earth auger for continuously discharging upward the earth and sand excavated by an auger head 1 by the auger screw 2, this cleaner device removes the earth and sand adhered to the auger screw 2. A rotating removing plate 3 for removing the earth and sand adhered to the auger screw 2 is provided so as to be engageable with the earth and sand adhered to the auger screw 2 and rotatable.
