PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond capacity control requirements during a cooling mode and a heating mode in a simple mechanism common to cooling and heating. SOLUTION: This refrigerating cycle device switches between the cooling mode of cooling air by evaporating a low-pressurized refrigerant with an evaporator 18 and the heating mode using a hot gas heater function of directly guiding a gas refrigerant on the deliver side of a compressor 10 to the evaporator 18 to radiate heat with the evaporator 18. Using a variable compressor allowing variation of the delivery capacity as the compressor 10, delivery capacity of the compressor 10 is controlled so that refrigerant flow in the cycle becomes a predetermined desired flow both in the cooling mode and the heating mode.
