A device for the processing of electric leads consists of two leg bodies held like pincers (1,2) which at their one end are connected together by a rotary axle unit (3,8) in at least one swivel position and have at least in the region of their other ends, at least one tool part (4-6). The rotary axle unit has a bolt link connection (8), lying opposite which, in at least one leg body, a leg locking body is to be displaced so that as a tool part, at least one lead insulation-stripping tool is to be brought into a stripping position (101), namely, a swivel position or a lead-cutting tool as a further tool part into a cutting position (102), namely a further swivel position.
