PURPOSE: To provide a structure of a push button switch that makes the operational stroke long without increasing the external size as well as reduces the contact resistance of a contact part. CONSTITUTION: A push button switch comprises a housing 1 with an accommodation part 1a, a stationary contact 2b projected on the bottom of the accommodation part 1a, a movable contact 3 with a contact piece 3e centrally cut arranged opposite to the stationary contact 2b, and a rubber spring 4 with an actuating protrusion 4c for pushing the contact piece 3e toward the stationary contact 2b. The accommodation part 1a has an indented part 1b formed centrally in the inner bottom to project the stationary contact 2b. The contact piece 3e is downward folded and formed through a curved portion 3d in the indented part 1b.
