PURPOSE: A protection system against meteorological disaster for train service and a method the same are provided to promptly catch an influence of current meteorological condition on a rail service by connecting current meteorological information with a train service control system. CONSTITUTION: A train service control system consists of a command signal equipment(20) and a field signal equipment(30). A meteorological warning unit(10) receives meteorological information related with a rail service, transmits the meteorological information to a total traffic control unit(21), records the meteorological information in a database, analyzes the meteorological information, and transmits warning command data to the total traffic control unit(21) in case it detects a dangerous factor to the rail service from the analyzed meteorological information.
