PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the noise and the vibration generated by the friction and the collision caused by the force and the differential speed between balls when the balls are rotated between a screw shaft and a spiral groove of a nut body or in a circulating passage, and to solve disadvantages leading to problems in that the number of effective balls by an excessive space. SOLUTION: Friction or collision between the trails is avoided, and the noise and the vibration are considerably reduced by providing a smaller spacer between the balls adjacent to each other of the ball screw. The spacer is designed substantially columnar, and both end faces of a columnar body are designed in an inwardly recessed surface to the shape of the balls, the distance between the adjacent balls can be considerably reduced, the ball screw increases the number of effective balls in using the spacer, and the strength of the ball screw can be improved. |
