PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unevenness due to a phase difference plate generated in a high temperature region, in a super twisted nemetic liquid crystal display device of negative mode display, wherein color compensation is performed by a temperature compensation type phase difference plate. SOLUTION: Phase difference plates 13 and 14 having an aspect ratio of 1:1.5 to 1:2.5 are disposed between a liquid crystal cell and polarizing plates 11 and 12, respectively. |
