<p>PURPOSE: To conduct control to enhance a fuel consumption of an engine using a continuously variable transmission, and to properly maintain idling. CONSTITUTION: In this controller, a target output of a power source for attaining target driving force is found based on the target driving force, the number of target output revolutions is found based on the target output, a gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled to bring the number of output revolutions of the power source into the target output revolution number, target output torque of the power source is found to attain the target driving force based on the target driving force, and a load of the power source is controlled based on the target output torque. The controller of the present invention is provided also with a correction means (block B7) for correcting a controlled variable for controlling the load of the power source to bring the output torque of the power source into a value provided by adding an output torque for maintaining the idling of the power source to the target output torque.</p> |
