PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having an easily mountable reflecting plate with which thickness can be thinned. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 50 is provided with the same configuration as a conventional liquid crystal display device except for the configuration of the reflecting plate 52 and a reflecting sheet 54. The reflecting sheet 54 laminated on the rear side surface of a light guide plate 26 has an extended part 54a extended to the lower end of the lower wall 40d of a molded chassis 40 over the incident plane 26b of the light guide plate 26 and a lamp 34. In the reflecting plate 52, a metal platy member is bent so that the cross section may become the shape of nearly L character, one upper side plate 52a of the shape of nearly L character is positioned on the light-emitting surface 26a of the light guide plate 26, and the other side plate 52b is positioned on the back side of the lamp 34, respectively, and the lower end is abutted on the extended part 54a of the reflecting sheet 54. |
