<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce complicated treatment in checking a drain function in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is provided with a process for automatically operating a drain pump 6 upon energization of an indoor unit 32, and a process for checking a drain pump 6 whether it operates normally or not. A drainpipe 9 is provided in connection wit the drain pump 6, and drain discharge from the pump 9 is checked in the following process after an automatic operation of the drain pump 6. A controller is provided for automatic operation or stop of the drain pump 6.</p> |
