<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which cleaning work of an air filter is facilitated. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a suction panel for taking in the air in a room to be conditioned, an air filter for removing dust contained in the air, a heat exchanger for conditioning the air passed through the air filter, and a fan for supplying the air conditioned through the heat exchanger to the room to be conditioned disposed sequentially in an air duct. The air conditioner further comprises a first filter holding section for holding the air filter removably, a second filter holding section for moving the first filter holding section along a line, a guide section for elevating/lowering the second filter holding section, a drive section having a pinion meshing a rack provided at the second filter holding section, a moving body being guided by the second filter holding section along the second filter holding section, and a section for coupling the moving body with the first filter holding section.</p> |
