<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM pulse Doppler radar which can detect the error in the bandwidth of the transmission frequency, and make an appropriate correction based on the error. SOLUTION: This FM pulse Doppler radar which pulse-modulates and transmits the modulated wave having the repeating changing frequency, receives the wave reflected by an object for each range gate of the same interval as the pulse width, and obtains the distance corresponding to each range gate and the distance to the object and the relative speed of the object from the difference in frequency between the transmitted wave and the received wave comprises a subject vehicle speed measuring means 15 which measures the subject vehicle speed, and a comparing and detecting means 16 which compares the distance corresponding to the detected range gate with the distance obtained from the difference in frequency between the transmitted wave and the received wave, and detects the error in distance caused by the error in the bandwidth of the transmitted frequency based on the subject vehicle speed and the relative speed.</p> |
