PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-NOx combustion equipment which can more reduce NOx and can secure reliable ignitability although the equipment is such a type that the concentration of a mixed gas is changed monotonously. SOLUTION: This low-NOx combustion equipment has a lean burner port 12 which communicates with a lean chamber 11 and through which a lean mixed gas is supplied to a combustion chamber by flowing, a first burner port 14 which communicates with a first mixed gas chamber 13 adjoining to the lean chamber 11 and is positioned closely to the lean burner port 12, and a second burner port 17 which communicates with a second mixed gas chamber 16 adjoining to the first mixed gas chamber 13 and is positioned closely to the first burner port 14 and makes the concentration in the first mixed gas chamber 13 higher than that in the second mixed gas chamber 16. In addition, the front end of an ignition electrode 43 is faced to the first burner port 14 through a gap. Consequently, a large amount of intermediate products are generated and reduces the amount of produced NOx by stabilizing lean flames and lowering the concentration of the mixed gas when the products are supplied to the base section of the lean burner port 12 by material diffusion. In addition, the occurrence of an odor or unburnt gas can be prevented, because flames ignited by electric discharge can be propagated quickly.
