PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling a new column to an existing column. SOLUTION: The first two positioning means are mounted on the two places of the existing column 20. One 26 of the first positioning means is positioned with a predetermined distance x kept from an axis C1 of the column 20 in the horizontal direction of X, and the other 28 thereof is positioned with a predetermined distance y kept from the axis C1 of the column 20 in the horizontal direction of Y. The second two positioning means engaged with the first positioning means are mounted in a manner such as to correspond to the first positioning means on the two places of the new column 24. One 32 of the second positioning means is positioned with the predetermined distance x kept from an axis C2 of the column 24 in the direction of X.
