PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a coating film by which a window glass can be bonded to the coating film without fail even when the window glass is coated with a hydrophilic coating film. SOLUTION: Prior to bonding a window glass 14 to a clear topcoat 7 having a silicate compound as a hydrophilicity improver through a window glass adhesive 16 being an organic adhesive, the topcoat 7 is primed with a body primer containing an additive 13 containing organic reactive groups capable of reacting with the organic resin and being capable of covalently bonding to the silicate compound in the topcoat 7.
