PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the storage capacity of a refuse collecting device by increasing the height of a refuse storage container. SOLUTION: The refuse storage container 13 having an opening upper part 13a, of which the bottom wall 13c or a portion near the bottom wall is oscillatably supported on a frame 12 so as to oscillate between a standing position D where it stops in a standing condition and a tilting position E where it stops in a tilting condition with the opening upper part 13a directed upwards on the front side, is formed with a chamfered wall 13e inclined from the front edge of the bottom wall 13c to the lower edge of the front wall 13d between the bottom wall 13c and front wall 13d of the refuse storage container 13.
