PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a roller which is smoothly circulated even in a complicated mode of motion such as a three-dimensional direction conversion passage, and feeds the sufficient lubricant to the roller. SOLUTION: The retainer 15 for the roller individually holds a plurality of rollers 7 circulating in a roller circulation passage including a straight track and a curved track, and is thin-walled so as to hold both side surfaces of the rollers 7 and forward and rear surfaces in the roller advancing direction. Straight guide portions 16a and 17a with different angle of inclination and curved guide portions 16b and 17b are formed on both end faces in the advancing direction of the retainer 15 for the roller. In the straight track, the straight guide portions 16a and 17a are brought into contact with the adjacent retainer 15 for the roller, and in the curved track, the curved guide portions 16b and 17b are brought into contact with the adjacent retainer 15 for the roller. |
