PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the jam treatment in a feed passage from a feed tray in an image forming device having feed trays arranged in multilayer and performing a paper feed through a common paper carrying passage. SOLUTION: In this paper carrying device for delivering paper toward an image formation part 2 from the feed trays 21 of a feed part 20, a fulcrum is provided on the lower part of the paper delivering part of each feed tray 12 to arrange a guide member 30 having openable in the upper part. A constraint member 35 formed of a U-shaped wire or the like is mounted on each guide member 30. In a jam treatment, an outer cover member 38 is opened through a rear-side fulcrum, and paper is drawn out by the constraint member 35 by rocking the guide member 30, whereby the removal of the sheet can be performed easily.
