PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated paper for printing, having high-speed operability, not causing a coating unevenness in coating a base paper with a coating solution containing a pigment and an adhesive by a coating apparatus of a metered film transfer method and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In this method for producing the coated paper for printing by coating the base paper with the coating solution containing a pigment and an adhesive, this coated paper for printing and the method for producing the coated paper for printing are characterized in that the base paper is coated with a coating solution having a value of the coating solution which is measured by a color tack measurement method and is a specific value by a coating apparatus of a metered film transfer method.
