PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin curing agent capable of giving a resin good in formability, improved in flexural strength and excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: This epoxy resin curing agent is obtained by reacting a phenol, an aldehyde, an aromatic amine and a xylylene compound as essential ingredients.
