PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a tube-like body, a carrying method for the tube-like body, and a repair device and a repair method for a seam welded part of a welded can. SOLUTION: This carrier carries the tube-like body 11 open in both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the tube-like body 11. The carrier has a long guide member 15 provided parallel to the carrying direction of the tube-like body 11 such that the guide member 15 penetrates the inside of the tube-like body 11, inside support means 16 provided at three or more positions of the guide member 15 in the carrying direction such that the inside support means 16 abut on the inner face of the tube-like body 11 and support the tube-like body 11 from the inside, outside support means 18 provide in a fixed frame 21 opposite to the inside support means 16 such that the outside support means 18 abut on the outside of the tube-like body 11 and respectively pair with the inside support means 16 to pinch the tube-like body 11 from the outside and the inside, guide member retention means 28 provided such that the retention means 28 retain the guide member 15 in a full-time stationary state relatively to the fixed frame 21 without disturbing the carriage of the tube-like body 11, and drive means 14 driving the tube-like body 11 to the carrying direction.
