PURPOSE: A device and method for outputting the mouth shape corresponding to the text data are provided to output the mouth shape data per every syllable on a screen, and to output the image of more natural mouth shape by inserting the middle mouth shape data created through the morphing technique. CONSTITUTION: A storage(10) for the mouth shape data stores each pronunciation of all consonants and vowel of a foreign language and the mouth shape data corresponding to the pronunciation. A user inputs the specified text data through a text input unit(20). A controller(30) receives the text data from the text input unit, analyses the pronunciation of the text data divided into each syllable, and outputs the mouth shape data, corresponding to the pronunciation, into a displayer(40). Also, the controller can output more natural mouth shape by inserting the middle mouth shape data created through the morphing technique. The displayer outputs the mouth shape on the screen.
