PURPOSE: A method and system for transmitting control and state signals by expanding a transmission code of a serial network is provided to transmit data, the control signal, and the state signal to a minimum transmission line in a digital communication network without a specific line or a software standard. CONSTITUTION: A serial unit(310) outputs transmission information to a modulation unit(320) successively, and is disabled by an output of an intermediate control unit(340) and a comparing unit(350). The intermediate control unit(340) is set up by an intermediate start signal(341), and operates the serial unit(310) and outputs a modulated bit stream(331) to a common bus(1) through a bus interface unit(330) successively. The comparing unit(350) compares the modulated bit stream(331) with a bus signal through a buffer, and resets the intermediate control unit(340) when the modulated bit stream(331) is not identical to the bus signal. The bus interface unit(350) has a bus driver for inserting the bit stream(331) of the modulation unit(320) into the common bus(1).
