PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a flocculation agent of solely a titanium salt solution free from aluminum, economical and excellent in flucculating and precipitating capabilities in water treatment for tap water and sewage. SOLUTION: The flocculation agent for water treatment is a flocculation agent is either a titanyl sulfate containing TiO2 in 15% or lower or a titanium tetrachloride solution concentrated TiO2 in 20% or higher and capable of efficiently carrying out flocculation and precipitation in a wide range of pH including a neutral region.
