PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the irreversible capacity, easily balance a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and increase charging/discharging capacity by mixing the prescribed carbon material and at least one kind of metal to at least one of a positive mixture and a negative mixture. SOLUTION: A mixture serving as a working electrode 2 is pressed against the inside of a working electrode case 1 through a small amount of conductive adhesive 3, a metal lithium disc serving as a counter electrode 5 is pressed against the inside of a counter electrode case 4, and a gasket 6 is arranged in the periphery of the case 4 to prevent the electric short circuit with the case 1. A positive active material and/or a negative active material comprising a material capable of absorbing/releasing lithium ions, a conductive carbon material, and at least one metal hardly alloying with lithium, selected from transition metals and alloys of these metals are mixed to at least one of the positive mixture and a negative mixture. Or, a nitride of at least one element selected from transition metals, 3B group elements and 4B group elements in the periodic table is mixed. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are balanced, and the capacity is increased. |
