PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the residual quantity of ink can not be determined accurately because a user determines the residual quantity of ink visually based on the blur of a specific black pattern printed on a recording sheet and determination of the residual quantity of ink differs from user to user. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a section for outputting an image formed of a developer based on image information to a recording medium and the image output section outputs an alarm mark of an area proportional to the residual quantity of developer to the recording medium along with the image.
