PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense burner which uses no ashes and secures sufficient length to stand incense sticks over a deep accommodation chamber (a container). SOLUTION: There are provided a first mesh body 5 and a second mesh body 6 which are rough enough for an incense stick 16 to be inserted into and a third mesh body 7 through which the incense stick 16 cannot pass. The first mesh body 5 and the second mesh body 6 are disposed above and below, facing each other with a prescribed distance between, while the third mesh body 7 is disposed closely to the underside of the second mesh body 6. An accommodation chamber 3, which is deep and open at the top, is provided to accommodate the mesh bodies 5, 6, 7, the first mesh body 5 disposed on the upper end of the accommodation chamber 3, while the second mesh body 6 and the third mesh body 7 disposed keeping a prescribed distance from the bottom of the accommodation chamber 3.
