The present invention proposes a trigger-type liquid discharge container which can be used in an inverted posture and in a horizontal posture having its ejection pipe directed downward. Said container is constructed,by fitting the upper portion of a liquid suction tube 121, in which a valved tube 141 and a suction pipe setting tube 151 are fitted, in a base tubular portion 103;by providing communication between a suction pipe 156 depending from a second longitudinal tube 154 and a main tube 106 through both a first longitudinal tube 144 and the second longitudinal tube 154, which respectively extend through first and second transverse walls 142 and 152 of the valved tube and the suction pipe setting tube;by forming a liquid suction port 127 for the inverted posture in the front portion of the upper end of the liquid suction pipe portion, as depending downward from the lower end of the base tubular portion 103;by providing an air suction preventing valve 162 in the front portion of the first transverse wall 142 under said suction port, and by forming an opening 148 in the longitudinal tube portion between the first and second transverse walls 142 and 152.
