PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly cope with irregular discharge of game balls in a game machine for discharging game balls with a ball discharging device whose drive source is a pulse motor. SOLUTION: When a game ball is detected (X3) during the period other than the pulse transmitting time T1 of a ball release unit 600 to a ball discharging pulse motor 620 or the released ball passing delay time T2, the ball discharging pulse motor 620 is excited in the holding condition during a prescribed time T3 and the oscillating excitation time-up time T4 to stop the motion of the ball release unit 600. After the time T3 and T4 elapsing, the ball discharging pulse motor 620 is degaussed to prevent damage by overheating. Generation of irregular discharge is notified by a first notification lamp on a game control device 100 side and a second notification lamp 32 on a discharge control device 400 side.
