PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use a single electric rice cooker either as a multi-function type or a single function type by a switching operation. SOLUTION: The electric rice cooker is provided with an operation panel 7 which has operation keys 41 to 47 and a display section 48. Plural kinds of display patterns are provided on the display section 48 and a switching means (a changeover switch 49) to change the display patterns is provided. The display pattern is changed into the plural kinds by the changeover switch 49 to be displayed on the display section 48.
