PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mechanism for adjusting the position of a leaf remover for tea manufacturing equipment, capable of mechanically adjusting a space gap at a time between the tip of the leaf remover and a roll dryer drum instead of conventional handwork performed one by one. SOLUTION: This mechanism for tea manufacturing equipment designed to disperse and dry tea leaves with a leaf remover 8 rotatingly driven in a roll dryer drum 2 and properly roll the leaves is characterized by using e.g. a hydraulic cylinder 81 operated with a hydraulic regulator 13 set outside the drum 2 and shifting the whole remover 8 or a part thereof containing remover arms 80 at the tip of the remover 8 to adjust the space gap S between the tip of the remover 8 and the drum 2.
