PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig head for a lure, capable of securing a weight for a long-distance throw, swimming to a desired depth of water even at a slow underwater speed, having a device for a method for attaching a worm to the rear of the jig head and expressing the same movement as that of a natural small fish being a necessary element as a lure (plug) in the combination of the jig head and the worm. SOLUTION: Both sides of a jig head machine body (1) are provided with baffle plates (2), a proper buoyancy is produced by resistance in water and the jig head can swim to a desired depth of water. Simultaneously, an unnecessary spin of the jig head is suppressed and the jig head can swim horizontally and stably. By contriving a hook (4) for fastening the worm at the end of the jig head, the worm can move naturally and is simply fixed to actualize improvement in ability as a plug of a lure and betterment of number of fishes hooked up.
