PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the waster of the paper at the time of printing a plurality of jobs on a roll paper. SOLUTION: A printer 30 comprising a paper feeding and rewinding mechanism 43 for feeding and rewinding a roll paper 1, a transceiver part 71 for receiving a width direction developing command for printing the jobs disposed side by side in the roll paper 1 width direction, a job paper position layout part 76 for laying out a specific job paper position at the side of the job already printed on the roll paper in the case the width direction developing command is received for the specific job, and a printing mechanism controlling part 79 for controlling a printing mechanism 40 including the paper feeding and rewinding mechanism 43 such that the specific job is printed on the paper position laid out by the job paper position layout part 76, is provided.
