PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To proceed an adjustment in a more advantageous way than the conventional method where the adjustment of the distance between welding spots performed by arbitrarily changing an electrode pitch is necessary for such a type of welding as a spot welding or a projection welding performed by using plural pairs of electrodes. SOLUTION: To realize the purpose, electrodes 11 and 13 are moved in an arc whose center is an axis Y-Y which is in parallel with an axis line X-X of the electrodes 11 and 13. With this arc motion, the pitch between the electrodes 11 and 13 and the neighboring electrodes 17 and 18 is varied.
